MedSpas, Dermatologist Offices, and Plastic Surgery Centers today are looking for employees with capabilities beyond the traditional Esthetic programming and Licensed Esthetician experience. Professionals who can bridge the gap between traditional esthetics and medicine are valuable but hard to find, and the demand for this new breed of Esthetic professionals is growing. The Aesthetic Lasers program is designed for students who wish to pursue careers in the treatment and maintenance of skin and conditions through the use of laser and other light therapies. The program emphasizes practical skills based on fundamental core esthetic knowledge along with a medical background. Students will analyze the needs of the skin and determine which lasers and treatments are appropriate. This course expects students to spend a few more hours a week accomplishing online school work before the lab.
