Welcome to the first step in your journey toward an advanced career in the growing field of Medical Aesthetics. The Institute of Medical Aesthetics (IOMA) is proud to offer diploma programs that provide estheticians, medical professionals, and beauty industry specialists with the education, hands-on training, and professional skills needed to succeed in this exciting field.
Eligibility Criteria
In order to be granted admission to the Institute of Medical Aesthetics, one will need the following:

Enrollment Agreement.

A current license or certification as an esthetician, cosmetologist, medical assistant, nurse, nurse practitioner, physician assistant, or physician. We do require proof of licensure during the application process.

Students must also complete an online learning assessment, demonstrating your readiness for asynchronous coursework.

Programs Begin Every 8 Weeks
At The Institute of Medical Aesthetics (IOMA), we understand that many of our students balance work, family, and other commitments alongside their education. That’s why we’ve designed our programs to be accessible and flexible to fit your lifestyle.
Our programs are asynchronous, allowing you to work at your own pace while receiving a comprehensive education. Here’s an overview of our offerings:

Medical Aesthetics Program: This program is entirely online, providing you with the flexibility to learn from anywhere.

Aesthetic Lasers Program: This programs is primarily online, with the exception of the final week. During this last week, students will attend our campus for 40 hours of hands-on training, gaining practical experience to complement their online coursework.

Combine Them: Students may enroll in both the Medical Aesthetics and Aesthetic Lasers programs, with credit granted for overlapping coursework. This allows for a streamlined learning experience, reducing redundancy while ensuring a comprehensive education in advanced skincare and laser technology.
Enrollment Deadlines and Payment Policies:

Enrollment for each term closes two weeks prior to the start date.

Payment is required upfront unless a designated payment plan has been approved.
